The world would be far less interesting if Elon Musk stopped tweeting. Just look at what he decided to tweet after getting 69 million followers on Twitter…
This guy once announced a plan to sell all of his physical possessions, before tweeting that his girlfriend was now mad at him.
He may be odd, but you cannot deny that Elon Musk has made Twitter sexy again.
Elon has a history of making things sexy, just ask the electric car. Before the futuristic Cybertruck and the genuinely fast Model S, we had to put up with the hideous and depressingly slow Nissan Leaf.
Now Elon and Tesla have set their sights on the world’s sexiest sport, Motor Racing!
Tesla has offered to sponsor electric teams competing in the Formula SAE series.
Formula SAE is a U.S.-based engineering competition, where teams of students must design, build, test, and race a prototype racing car.
Tesla employees volunteered at last year’s Formula SAE event and were disappointed that very few teams used electrical components. In response, Tesla executives decided to make electrification more accessible by sponsoring any team wishing to go electric.
Teams can choose to get up to 1,000 Tesla battery cells or an 80% discount on pre-built modules and hardware.
📱 Social Media Madness of the Week
Lukaku Likes Italy 🇮🇹
Lukuka appears to be suffering from the same condition that afflicts most Americans when they return from a visit to Italy.
The Starbucks and deep-dish pizza that was once enough for them is now a disappointment when compared to the glorious food and drink available in Italy.
Most unfortunate souls afflicted with this condition simply cannot help but inform everyone they see that literally, everything is better in Italy.
Lukaku first exhibited symptoms of this condition when he sat down for an interview with Sky Italia to talk about his transfer from Inter Milan to Chelsea.
In this now infamous chat, Lukaku explained that he was not loving life at Chelsea and was hoping for a return to Inter in the not too distant future.
Chelsea fans were not happy to see Lukaku professing his love for another club. Former players accused him of being disrespectful and media outlets reported that most of the Chelsea players were completely confused by his comments.
Football fans were quick to mock Lukaku across social media, with most memes focusing on the idea that he believed EVERYTHING was better at Inter.
As punishment, Lukaku was left out of the squad for Chelsea’s trip to Liverpool, fined half a million euros, and asked to record an apology video for Chelsea fans.
Scoring goals and winning trophies seem to be the best way back into Chelsea fans’ hearts… They certainly got over the ‘unforgivable betrayal’ of losing Lampard pretty damn fast when they won the Champions League.
🗞 Story of the Week
Novacc Djokovic Doesn’t Like Needles 🎾 💉
The parents of sports stars have a reputation for being intense. Most are trying to live their own sporting dreams through their children and the pressure of competition can sometimes get a bit much.
Just ask the father of Novak Djokovic…
To understand this crazy story let’s go back a few days. In an attempt to combat the growing surge of Omicron, Australia announced new restrictions which meant that all players at the Australian Open, due to start January 19th, must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Initially, Djokovic, who has publicly spoken against the vaccine, was handed a medical exemption to play at the tournament.
But upon his arrival in Australia, the Border Force noticed an error on his medical exemption application and denied Djokovic entry into the country.
Djokovic was then questioned in the airport and the Border Force asked Djokovic to leave the country. Djokovic's lawyers now plan to appeal.
The Tennis star’s father, Srdjan Djokovic, did not take the news well and decided to take on the Australian government.
'I have no idea what's going on, they're holding my son captive for five hours,’ he explained to the media.
'This is not a fight for the libertarian world, this is not just a fight for Novak, but a fight for the whole world! If they don't let him go in half an hour, we will gather on the street, this is a fight for everybody.' he continued.
Whether or not Djokovic plays at the Australian Open will now be down to the Courts.
Unless Djokovic’s father manages to overthrow the Australian government within the next few weeks.

Son Heung-Min Likes Beer 🍺
Tiger, the popular Asian beer produced by the Heineken company, has just signed Tottenham and South Korea superstar Son Heung-Min as a brand ambassador.
Son will appear in the company’s multi-market campaign titled ‘The Year of Your Tiger.’
The campaign aims to encourage people to set aside their fears and achieve their boldest ambitions in the Year of the Tiger, which begins at Lunar New Year on 1st February 2022.
A 30-second ad has already been released featuring Son and friends holding bottles of Tiger beer. The focus on bottles appears to be down to the fact that Son is physically unable to hold a cup while under contract with Tottenham.
As a part of the campaign, Son has been describing how the Year of the Tiger has been inspiring him to go all out on achieving his biggest goal – to win a major trophy for his country.
Yes, you read that right, even when asked to put aside all his fears and dream big, Son is still unable to envision a future where Tottenham actually wins a major trophy.
The campaign will run for 12 months and starts this month in Asia, Oceana, and Brazil.
