How Two Youtubers Built the Fastest Selling Drinks Company ▶️🥤
Plus a little update on the future of this newsletter...
Welcome to Athletic Interest.
Happy New Year! This is a time for resolutions. A time for improving yourself. You might have vowed to go to the gym or maybe you promised to watch more Athletic Interest content?
Well, we can help with one of those. Our resolution for 2024 is to create better and more videos for you over on YouTube. That does mean that we need to prioritize a little. So, this newsletter will be going on a bit of a diet.
Starting now, this newsletter will be bi-weekly. We still promise some light-hearted, but insightful analysis of the sports business landscape, just every two weeks. This will allow us to focus on developing the very best stories for YouTube.
We already have some fun ideas lined up. One involves a tennis player on the Titanic and the other has something to do with peeing while cycling. We told you…top quality!
Talking of peeing. Yours will probably smell like perfume if you consume the topic of our latest video, Prime Hydration.
One of the most impressive things in sports business last year was the continued rise of Prime Hydration. Logan Paul and KSI managed to bring total sales to one billion bottles. That’s in just two years. Prime is officially the fastest-selling beverage of all time. Not just sports drinks…any beverage!
Two Youtubers are now eating away at the market share of giants like Red Bull and Gatorade.
This may seem like a simple case of attaching star names to a brand and creating hype, but it’s more complicated than that…
